Andy Flack, CFP®, MBA

I’m part of Cross State Financial Group, a collaborative network of advisory offices across the country. Each advisor in our network brings unique experience and knowledge, and we share ideas and resources so our clients benefit from the strength of the whole system, not just one individual.

At the same time, I run my own Independent practice, which means you get the best of both worlds: personalized guidance tailored to your life with the backing of a broad professional network.

I have been in the financial services industry since 2010 and have met with thousands of families through many different market environments. Over the course of my career I’ve learned a simple truth: investment strategy alone isn’t enough. True success comes when people clarify their goals and coordinate all aspects of their finances. Only then can they make full use of their resources.

My approach goes beyond traditional investment management. I help clients:

Clarify what’s most important so decisions have meaning.

Coordinate their entire financial picture — cash flow investments, taxes, insurance, and estate planning — so everything works in harmony.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife, Molly, my kids, Henry and Elsie and my dog Rueben. I love to play guitar exercise read and have gatherings at my house to stay connected with friends and family.

FAQ

Question: Which company do you open client accounts through?

Answer: Our client accounts are through Charles Schwab & Co.

Question: How are you compensated?

Answer: Management fees are based on a percentage of assets under management and are billed quarterly in arrears. The applicable annual rate is determined by total household assets and applied as a single rate to the full account balance rather than on a tiered basis. While advisory fees are negotiable and may vary based on client circumstances, the following schedule represents a commonly used fee structure:

$0 to $500,000 - 1.25%

$500,000.01 to $999,999.99 - 1.00%

$1,000,000 to $1,499,999.99 - 0.90%

$1,500,000 to $1,999,999.99 - 0.80%

$2,000,000 and above - 0.75%

For example, a household with $750,000 under management would be billed at an annual rate of 1% on the full amount.

Because this schedule applies a single rate to the entire account balance, clients with higher asset levels may pay a lower overall advisory fee than clients with lower asset levels receiving similar services.
